Eve Cooke is a Master of Forestry candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. She is interested in ecological restoration and the design and management of urban green space. Before starting her master’s studies, Eve worked with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) as a High Meadows Fellow for two years, where she promoted state and local policies to protect coastal communities and ecosystems in Florida. While at EDF, she led a successful campaign to enact Florida House Bill 1049 and surveyed 90 practitioners to identify systemic barriers to the adoption of nature-based solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
