Ismini is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Ecosystem Management and Conservation. She is particularly interested in the intersection of land use, sustainable food systems, and ecological restoration. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Ismini worked for Columbia University’s Earth Institute at the Center for Sustainable Development, supporting the Director on several initiatives revolving around the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In the summer prior to starting at Yale, she spent three months in Costa Rica exploring interests in tropical ecology, and consulted part-time for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. She received her BSc in Global Development from Cornell University.
