Kearstyn Cook is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. She is interested in conservation policy, public lands, and collaborative approaches to natural resource management. Before starting her master’s studies, Kearstyn worked with Montana Conservation Voters as Program Director, where she led policy and legislative programs focused on protecting clean air, clean water, public lands, and democracy. Previously, she worked with the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service in Montana and Alaska, developing environmental education and interpretation programs and engaging diverse communities in environmental stewardship. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a concentration in Environmental Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
