Maxine Haspel is a first-year candidate for Yale School of the Environment’s Master of Environmental Management, with a concentration in People, Equity, and the Environment. Her professional interests lie in climate adaptation, collaborative governance, and beavers. At the Forests Dialogue, Maxine focuses on logistics, helping to realize the Southeastern U.S. Bioenergy from Forests Dialogue in North Carolina October 2026. Prior to joining Yale University, Maxine mapped flood risk in her home state of Georgia with Dewberry Engineers. She is an alumna of the University of South Florida in Tampa.
