Gabriela D'Orazio
Gabriela D’Orazio is a Master of Forestry candidate at Yale School of the Environment (‘26), specializing in international forest management and biogeochemistry. Her work is dedicated to enhancing climate change mitigation strategies by exploring how agroforestry practices can be adapted to support tree regeneration and ecosystem health.
Before joining YSE, Gabriela worked as a certified arborist at an environmental consulting firm, where she gained expertise in erosion, sediment, and stormwater management. She also contributed to urban forestry initiatives in Richmond, VA, as the Communications and Outreach Chair on the board of directors for a local non-profit, the Richmond Tree Stewards.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Gabriela enjoys practicing yoga, exploring new cuisines through cooking, and listening to Frank Sinatra.
