Violet is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Ecosystem Management and Conservation with a focus on the intersection of sustainable agricultural systems, land use, and nature-based solutions. At Yale, alongside her work with TFD, she is currently a research technician in Mark Bradford’s lab focusing on forest carbon models and a research associate with the Center for Business and the Environment’s Regenerative Agriculture Initiative. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Violet worked in strategy at Aleph Farms, an Israeli lab-grown meat company, and at Deloitte’s Federal consulting practice working with the World Bank and the Gates Foundation to employ innovative finance mechanisms to incentivize the private sector to overcome market barriers for smallholders. She received her BA degree from Middlebury College in international and global studies with a focus on Arabic and the Middle East.
