Zoe Barr
Zoe Barr is a Master of Forest Science candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. Her research focuses on tropical forest ecology and restoration. Before starting her master’s studies, Zoe worked with the US Forest Service Southern Research Station as an ORISE Fellow, where her work focused on synthesizing current science and making it accessible for a range of forest stakeholders. Her past experience revolves around forest landscape management and restoration, including supporting agroforestry-focused capacity-building efforts, implementing restoration projects on the ground as a field crew member, and engaging in research to better understand the influence of government- and NGO-led conservation initiatives on management practices. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Agriculture as well as Environmental Science from Cornell University.
